A Ferrari Front Lockout

Charles Leclerc secures his 12th pole of his career in the inaugural Miami Grand Prix qualifying. He now has the same about of Ferrari pole positions as Sebastian Vettel in Ferrari.

Follwing him in P2 is his teammate Carlos Sainz. With Max Verstappen in P3. A small mistake in sector three cost him his pole.

A last-minute traffic jam cost Zhou to enter into Q2. Along with him MAG, ALB and Lat were knocked out of Q1.

Esteban Oon did not take part in qualifying because of the crash he suffered in FP3. He will be starting in P20.

Q2 was rather hectic as all 15 drivers trying to knock each other out to reach the top 10.

Alonso, Russell, Vettel, Ricciardo and Mick out of Q2.

Q1 was intense as well, with Charles on the provisional pole, Carlos and Max right behind him to snatch pole from him. But a small mistake from both in sector three caused them to lose pole position and Charles claimed pole. Alpha Tauri had an excellent qualifying session as Gasly qualified P7 and Yuki in P9. Hamilton qualified p6 with his former teammate Bottas in p5.

The starting top 10 starting grid for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix are Charles, Carlos, Max, Checo, Bottas, Hamilton, Gasly, Norris, Yuki and Stroll.

All of Charles's wins came from pole. Will he be able to continue the winning from pole streak or will someone else take the win in the inaugural Miami GP?
