A rather nail-biting race day. Did not except all those twists and turns.
With Max Verstappen on Pole followed by Lewis in P2 and Valtteri in P3 in Paul Ricard, anything was possible.
And lights out and away we go !!!!!
Max and Hamilton takes the lead but as Max losses control and goes a little wide on the bollards, Hamilton takes the lead of the race. It's a battle between teams and teammates. As McLaren's Lando and Daniel fight for 8th and 9th positions with each other. Daniel was in a raging battle with Alonso for P8 along with Lando right behind him. As Daniel passes Alsono, Lando passes Alonso as well, that's a double McLaren move as Alonso is pushed back to 11th. As all cars go into the pits for a fresh set of tiers, Hamilton called into the pits to undercut Max but Max has the upper hand and goes in front of him. As Max is called in for a 2nd pit stop, Hamilton leads the race with Bottas and Checo behind him. As the last couple of laps left to the chequered flag, Max overtakes Lewis in lap 52/53. Behind him, Checo passes Bottas to claim P3. Max went ahead to claim the French Grand Prix, followed by Lewis in P2 and Checo in P3. Double podium for Red Bull with three consecutive wins for the teams. Max leads the World Championship and Reb Bull leading the Constructors. McLaren moved up places the charts are both Daniel and Lando finish in P5 & P6 respectfully, moving McLaren 3rd in the constructors.
