Spa indeed had its own twists and turns. The longest circuit in the calendar and it just got renewed for 2023.

Our pole sitter, Carlos got a fantastic start but lap one had a couple of collisions. Hamilton and Alonso had a collision where Hamilton was airborne and had to retire in lap one due to the damage in his car.

Alonso picked up a few damages but kept on going.

Behind them, Latifi managed to come in contact with Ocon and spun around. Trying to avoid a spinning Latifi, Valtteri Bottas spun around in the grass and got stuck in the gravel and had to retire from the race.

Safety Car was triggered. Lap 4/44, safety car in. Again Carlos got a fantastic re-start followed by Perez. Meanwhile in the back. Max was gaining positions faster than ever.

By lap 12, Max was leading the race. He started at 14th and was leading in no time. That Redbull showed amazing pace in Spa.

By lap 21, it was a Red Bull 1-2. While Charles pitted under the safety car and was still in the back of the grid. But he soon recovered and by lap 26. Charles was in P7 and Carlos in P4, both after pitting.

There was a lot of overtaking during the course of time. In the final laps of the race, Ferrari decided to pit Charles Leclerc for softs and get an extra point for the fastest lap not only did they lose his P5 spot, but they also did achieve the fastest lap. To make his race even worse, Leclerc was given a 5 second time penalty for speeding the pitlane. Nothing but a disaster for Charles. Meanwhile his teammate, Carlos was running P3.

It was a Red Bull 1-2 with Max taking his 9th win of this season followed by his teammate and Carlos in P3 for Ferrari.
