It's a warm and sunny day in Styria. No sign of rain whatsoever. Max on pole with Lewis in P3 and Lando in P3 as Valterri got a 3 place grid penalty for spinning in the pitlane earlier this weekend.
And it's lights-out and away we go !!!! A great start for Max as he takes the lead in turn 1 followed by Lewis, Norris, Perez and Bottas. As all cars go through turn three, there is some contact at the back of the grid.
Gasly and Leclerc contact with each other which left Leclerc with a damaged front wing. Latifi tangles in that scuffle as well and gets some damage. Gasly got his left rear punctured.
Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo moves up a couple of places in the first lap. A very great start for him. Gasly and Leclerc entered the pits.
But Gasly retired after lap one due to his tire puncture. A short race for him indeed. The battle intensifies between Checo and Lando for 3rd place. Lando Norris managed to keep Checo at bay for 10 laps as Checo used DRS to overtake Lando. He dropped another place as Bottas overtook him with DRS as well.
Amazing race pace and drive by George Russell who started 17th as was in up in 8th place by lap 10. Russell for in points for Williams.

27/71: Russell pits but has some problem and has a delayed pit stop [18.3]
28/71: Bottas pits [2.6]
29/71: Lewis pits behind Bottas [2.2]
30/71: Max pits [2.0]
All drivers were on hard tires except for Norris who was on softs.
32/71: Battle for 7th between Rai(7), Ric(8), Lec(9)
32/71: Norris pits and drops down the 7th place.
39/71 George Russell is out of the race due to issues with his power unit. A gutwrenching race for George, the only Williams who was in the points range.
55/71: Perez boxes for a second time [2.2]
70/71: Hamilton is called in to box in the final lap to secure the fastest lap time.
71/71: Max wins, followed by Hamilton and Bottas.
