Formula One is back after a very long summer break and we are qualifying in Spa-Francorchamps. This weekend we went into qualifying with many cars with engine penalties. Max, Charles, Mick, Lando and a few others are to start the race at the back of the grid as they took a new engine. But since many of them were sent back, the grid order was to be set with the qualifying order.
Alex Albon made it into Q3 for the first time this season. A very good qualifying session for him and William indeed.
Max Verstappen was the fastest in Q3. But Ferrari tried to beat him to the pole position by Charles helping Carlos get a tow. But that did execute well as planned by Ferrari and Carlos ended up in P2 followed by Perez in P3.
But with all the penalties applied, Carlos will start in P1, followed by Perez in P2 and Fernando in P3. Meanwhile, Max is in P15 and Charles is in P16.
At the end, we do have a very mixed grid for tomorrow and a fun race indeed.
Let us see who wins in Spa this year.
