Racing under the lights in Singapore, a very wet Singapore indeed. Charles is on the pole followed by Perez and Carlos. The race was delayed because of the heavy rains and wet conditions. The race was timed into a 2-hour race.

Going into turn one Perez took the lead of the race followed by Charles and Carlos. Meanwhile, Perez's teammate Max who was in P8 dropped down to P12 due to a collision with Kevin Magnesuun in the Haas. With the track still wet, all cars were finding it difficult to get a good grip with the interns on.

Lap 7, a safety car was triggered as Zhou went into the barriers after a collision with Latifi. Zhou had to retire his Alfa in his first ever Singapore GP. As for Latifi, he limped back to the pits as a had a puncture from the contact but he had to retire the car as well.

Lap 22 came with a heartbreak for Alpine and Fernando who unlocked a new milestone this weekend as the only driver to reach 350 race starts. That sadly had to come to an end due to an engine problem.

A VSC was triggered.

Another safety car was triggered in lap 26 when Alex Albon went straight into the barriers and lost his front wing. He managed to reverse and go back to the pit and retire the car. That's a double retirement for Williams.

A second VSC was triggered when Ocon had an issue with his wind tunnel. A huge plume of smoke came out of his car and he had to retire. Another double retirement in this race.

Sir Lewis had a small moment in lap 33, which in turn helped Norris and Max. He quickly turned and went into the pits to change his damaged front wing.

Yet another safety car was triggered as Yuki went straight into the barriers and he had to retire his first Singapore GP.

The turning point of the race was when Max had a huge lockup trying to get past Norris in lap 40. He was so close to a podium finished but tumbled downed and lost his possible second world championship crown in Singapore.

On the other hand, Aston Martin and McLaren had a very good race as all four cars finished in points.

The Mexcian Defence Minister, Checo Perez defended for his life against Charles and won the Singapore Grand Prix and both Ferrari's joined him on the podium. It was a very long and physically challenging race indeed.

Next up we go to Suzuka.
