The Spanish Grand Prix is famously known to be a little boring but this season everything seems to take a new turn. This year's Grand Prix was more interesting than ever.

Lap one took an interesting turn when Hamiton and Mag collided sending KMag into the gravel and Hamilton tumbled the grid due to a puncture. Hamilton went from P6 to P19 in one lap. He wanted to retire the car but the pit wall belied that he could get into points, P8 at least.
While Sir Lewis was fighting the whole midfield.

Lap 7 the home town hero, Carlos Sainz spun in turn 4 and went into the gravel and joined the grid at P11. In Lap 9, Max said copy paste and spun in the same manner as Sainz.

As teams started to box, Rusended up in P3 with Max behind him. But the Dutchman had an issue with his DRS which wouldn't open. As an angry and frustrated Max was chasing Rus, Lap 27, the championship leader Charles Leclerc had an engine issue and had to retire the car along with Zhou whose reason for retiring is unknown but is speculated an engine issue as well.
Geroge Russell led the Spanish Grand Prix followed by a very angry Max Verstappen. Max pitted for a set of soft which put Perez in P2. Lap 49, Checo was asked to switch his position with Max, which seemed unfair. But obeyed it anyway.
Lap 66, Max wins the Spanish Grand Prix, followed by his teammate Checo making it a RedBull 1-2, Geroge Russell omes home to P3 for Mercedes followed by home town hero Carlos Sainz in P4 and Sir Lewis Hamilton, the driver of the day who chased the entire midfield from P19 all the way to P5. An impeccable and absolutely mega job by the 7-time world champion.
